Dr. Noa Krauz-Lahav
Researcher, Head of Institutional Philanthropy Research (2020-2023)
Noa joined ILP as lead researcher of institutional philanthropy (foundations) in Israel. Noa's doctoral study is a sociological ethnographic research that investigates the ways in which Israeli elite philanthropy is affected by cultural and socio-political changes. Her research interests focus on sociology of philanthropy, sociology of elites, cultural sociology, philanthropy and gender. Noa holds an MA in sociology and anthropology (cum laude), and an MA in public policy, all from Tel-Aviv University. Noa served as an academic councilor and advisor in philanthropic forums and initiatives, and presented her research at conventions and workshops in Israel and abroad. Previously, she served in several roles in the business and social sector, managing the “Leumi Aharai” Foundation of Leumi Group, the social project of Keshet Media Group, and the resource development of “Latet” organization (NGO).
